Blog Blog Blog
Once again it has been quite some time since I last posted, I don’t know why really I actually enjoy writing blogs and reading the comments people leave, I just don’t seem to have the motivation to write lately (that goes for lyric writing too). As Brodie’s Law Of Patterns dictates it will be even longer until my next blog. But as we all know (well some of my friends from high school anyway) my law of patterns if often wrong, but it’s a good rule none the less!

I still have glandular fever which is really starting to annoy me as I can’t go out much, can’t play soccer and I can’t drink. On top of that I have to work because I have no sick leave so I just feel like utter crap. It’s definitely getting better though, my glands have gone down quite a bit.
Moving along from me whinging about my sickness….
I was in Off Ya Tree last night when Rich (one of the staff members there) who collects tattoo magazines tells me that my Full Scale tattoo has been put into a magazine. I didn’t really believe him at first but sure enough he pulls out the magazine and shows me the photo. I was stoked, you can’t see my face or anything like that, it’s just a photo of my calf with the tattoo on it, but it was still quite cool. He even gave me the copy of the magazine which was nice. I would never have known about it if it wasn’t for someone who knew me and what my tatt looks like had read the magazine so I’m glad it was found. This event has further inspired me to hurry up and get my next two tattoos.
Here's a pic

Since getting sick I also vowed not to shave until I was well. I’ve kept my word and haven’t shaved for probably two months. I have quite a nice beard coming and was actually praised by somebody at a party for my facial hair which was a first, as facial hair and Brodie don’t mix. The really annoying part is my “moustache” which hasn’t grown much at all, and only connects with the rest of my beard on one side, on the other side hair doesn’t grow down at all, it’s funny and quite lame all at the same time. It took me at least 6 months to grow my goatee (my “chin pubes” as I like to call it) and I’ve been to afraid to see what I look like again by shaving it off. Most people don’t remember what I look like without it as I’ve had it for quite a few years now, so it will be a sad day when I shave the beard I have going although it will probably be for the best looks wise.
I’m hoping to make my return to soccer as soon as possible, not getting any exercise is making me feel quite grotesque.
I don’t really have much more to say, I did write another dream blog which can be found here at http://brodiesluciddreams.blogspot.com. So if you’re really bored that may entertain you for at least 2 minutes.
