I played basketball on Tuesday night and well to be honest I’m pretty disappointed with my “ability” and my “skills”. Usually when I play a sport I’d rate myself as fairly good at most of the things I do, but when it comes to basketball I think I’m a complete hack. I really don’t like sucking at sports I feel like a chump, so I don’t think basketball is my thing. The worst part of my game is easily my shooting, I would probably be ok if I could drive into the key but being mixed I wasn’t allowed to so this rendered me completely useless in my opinion.
On a positive note I really did really enjoy it and would be happy to play again if asked, practice makes perfect as they say. Going into the match I was a little worried on how my wrists would hold up, but I had them strapped and secured so they ended up being fine. The real test comes on Thursday when I goal keep for my work team, but if I can’t handle it I can easily swap with someone else.
That’s really all I have to say to be honest, I’m just writing this to kill time while I’m waiting for the person I’m talking to in messenger to respond.

It is just a social competition, so we don't expect to dribble like the Harlem Globetrotters :-)
I find the same thing Brodie, basketball is just kinda hard really lol. Shooting is very hard, I think youd find it just as hard in the key when people are all over you, being short like I am. I thought you played well for the level of experience you are at. Its all fun man, fun! Fun fun!
I don't like being mediocre at sports, i like being above average, i'll never be a superstar at a sport (well at least i don't think so) but i hate it when i suck more than everyone one else on the team.

Bronuts you were actually pretty good, until you started shooting. A little more shooting practice and you could be the black Michael Jordan! Anyways, you did good enough for me to be happy enough for you to replace me again this week, if you're interested.
